Bad service. We are staying at the Hotel Blake across the street. My spouse and I went across to get simple chair/foot massage and she asked if it was two of us and I replied yes and she told us ,” NO!” Without any explanation she just dismissed us. Very poor customer service. Do not recommend! If I couldn’t give a star I definitely would not.
As other reviews have mentioned, this is a no frills place. There’s no over the top ambience etc (though the ambience is comfortable and relaxing). What there is, is an amazing deep tissue massage. If your muscles are tighter than a hinge you’ve given up on even after a can of WD-40, you owe this place a visit. PS: be courteous. It’s a one-woman show. If you ring the bell and you haven’t been let in yet, she’s probably busy. Give her some grace, I promise you won’t regret it.
I wanted to share that I had my first of what will be many deep tissue massages at Spa Pro Massage at 531 S Dearborn St. as the other google reviews have said, no frills and great prices. I’m a larger framed guy and went with the hour long deep tissue. Wendy asked for any problem or target areas and man did she focus in and provide actual relief to the point of muscle fiber twitches. Well, she seems to be doing pretty well, but I thought a positive review never hurts.
Stopped by Spa Pro Massage on Dearborn after work for a 90-minute deep tissue session. The therapist was friendly, but she stepped out a couple of times during the massage to answer the phone, which broke the flow. The pressure was inconsistent—sometimes too light, other times too firm—and she didn't check in to see how I was feeling. The room was clean but lacked ambiance; no calming music or dim lighting to help me relax. Also, being asked to pay upfront felt a bit off-putting. For the price, I expected a more seamless and soothing experience.
